Congratulations to the 2010 "Robert Mueller Memorial" Eagle Scholarship winners: Miles D. Wynn of Troop 155 in Albion , NE and William Phelps of Troop 331 in Omaha. Thank you to all the Eagle Scouts who applied.
Robert Mueller achieved the rank of Eagle Scout on June 17, in 2002, as a member of Troop 283, chartered with Covenant Presbyterian Church, his Scoutmaster was Randy Nelson. Robert thrived in the scouting program, traveling to Philmont with his Dad and enjoying numerous other camping trips. Through the efforts of close friends of the family a scholarship has been established in Robert’s memory. The Mid-America Council, Boy Scouts of America’s is honored to present this memorial scholarship to a registered Scout, because they believe in the scouting program and have proven that they have the skills and tools to make ethical decisions which will assist them to achieve their full potential over their lifetime. The Boy Scouts of America, Mid-America Council is honored to offer this scholarship opportunity to four Scouts who have registered for National Youth Leadership Training and have been accepted. Scholarships are each valued at $200. We’re presenting the scholarships in memory of Josh Fennen, Aaron Eilerts, Sam Thomsen, and Ben Petrzilka and also honoring the other Scouts who demonstrated the ultimate leadership skills at Pahuk Pride in 2008.
