Boy Scout Resident Camp at Cedars

For many Scouts, summer camp is the highlight of their year in Scouting. It provides numerous opportunities for Scouts to earn merit badges along their advancement trail in addition to many other BSA or local camp recognitions. Some activities Scouts can do while camping include swimming, hiking, fishing, boating, rock climbing and hanging out around a campfire. Scouts can do all this, and more, at Camp Cedars!

2015 Camp Fees
(not including the Specialty Camp week)



$300 per Scout if paid in full by May 1
$330 per Scout if paid after May 1.

$90 per adult

*Scouts will receive a FREE camp t-shirt customized with their troop number with a $50 deposit paid by February 1 (additional customized t-shirts will be available for order until May 15)

*Each troop will receive 2 FREE adults and
1 additional FREE adult for every
10 Scouts on their registration

2015 Campership application forms will be available online in the fall of 2014

<10 Scouts = 2 FREE adults
10-19 Scouts = 3 FREE adults
20-29 Scouts = 4 FREE adults
30-39 Scouts = 5 FREE adults
and so on...


We are excited to help you prepare for summer camp. The 2015 Leader’s Guide and Program Guide are currently being updated. They will be available fall 2014 and should be used as a resource.

Year-Round Camping

Why wait till the summer to camp at Cedars? Your troop or Pack can camp at Cedars any weekend throughout the year. There are 360 acres of fun to experience!

High Adventure

Challenge yourself at BSA's High Adventure Bases. From the aquatic adventures of Florida Sea Base to the canoeing or winter camping challenge of Northern Tier , from the backpacking expeditions at Philmont Scout Ranch to the adventure sports programs at The Summit Bechtel Reserve , these experiences will shape you and teach you about yourself. Apply for Camp Staff!

Camp CedarsThe council is accepting staff applications to work at Camp Cedars. Prospective staff members must be at least 14-years-old prior to the beginning of camp to serve as volunteer counselors in training. Those who will be 15 and older receive a salary based on experience.
