The Mid-America Council has partnered with Nebraska Game and Parks to assist in a milkweed seedling planting in 2016-2017 at many Nebraska state parks.  The project will kick off at the Mid-America Council's Jubilee in October, 2016 at Mahoney State Park.  The first 100 Scouts to register for the project at the Jubilee will be able to earn the SOAR patch as well.  Interested Scouts can contact their local state park to find out about helping with this initiative.

Questions on the SOAR program can be directed to Ray Boice.  SOAR patches can be purchased through the Durham Scout Center for $3 each during normal business hours or by calling 402-431-9272.
