have the opportunity to see things and go places they could never imagine. They go on field trips and go camping. Want to go on a campout? Want to learn a secret code? If you're a boy in the first through fifth grades, (ages 7-10), then Cub Scouts might be for you.

All Cub shooting is restricted to District or Council level events, including but not limited to: Day Camps, Resident Camps, Mom and Me, Dad 'n Lad, Parent and Pal. BB Guns and Archery CAN NOT be done at the pack level. |
Who Again: The range must be administered by a certified BSA BB Gun (or Archery) Range Master
BB Gun Range Master: 18 years of age or older and trained by a National Camping School shooting sports director or National Rifle Association rifle instructor. Certification is good for two years. 3 hour course
Archery Range Master: 18 years of age or older and trained by a National Camping School shooting sports director. Certification is good for two years. 3 hour course.
Mid-America Council has at least 7 (that we know of) NCS certified shooting sports directors who are able to conduct BB and Archery trainings for your volunteers. |
