Soaring Eagle Spring Camporee

We need Tributes! Do you have what it takes to compete in the Hunger Games? Each team (patrol) finds themselves marooned in the wilderness with only basic survival gear. You have been placed in the wilderness for the purpose of determining not only who can survive, but who can thrive. There are other unknown hostile groups in the area. Your team must find and protect the rescue beacon before it is found by another group. The other groups must not be allowed to win your beacon (flag) as it is your only hope of rescue. Click here for more information and to register. "And may the odds be ever in your favor!"

Ad Altare Dei Catholic Religious Emblem

Troop 99, sponsored by St. Vincent de Paul Parish, will be hosting the Ad Altare Dei Catholic Religious Emblem program as set out by the National Catholic Committee on Scouting. Over the course of several months, Catholic Scouts ages 13-14 will explore the Sacraments as signs of his daily life along with Scouting. This is open to all Catholic Scouts in the area.

Meetings will be held at the St. Vincent de Paul Church in the St. Louise Room from 4-5pm on the First Sunday of March, April, May, August, September, October, November, and December. Scouts will be expected to have several Scoutmaster Conferences as they proceed with the program. A final Board of Review will be held before receiving the medal at the St. Vincent de Paul Scout Mass in January or February of 2015.

Books for the program may be obtained from the Scout Shop and a Bible will be necessary for each Scout. There will be a request that a parent or guardian of the Scout assist in providing two-deep-leadership for at least one of the meeting times.

Please contact Colleen Steinhauser at 402-714-1651 for questions or more information.
