WHERE: Lauritzen Gardens
100 Bancroft St., Omaha, Nebraska 68108

Lauritzen Gardens is an outstanding destination for educational field trips where children can immerse themselves in the wonders of nature. With multiple unique gardens and natural settings, spectacular views of the Missouri River valley, a model railroad garden and two of the biggest locomotives ever to run the rails, the garden provides a wealth of learning opportunities across a variety of subject areas.

Guided tours include a 1.5 hour tour with a trained guide. Self-guided tours are roughly 1.5 hours, and are lead by the tour group's leader. One adult chaperone per group of 10 children is required and is admitted free of charge. Adult admission rates apply to additional chaperones. The decreased admission prices, and incredible educational opportunities, are made possible by generous donors that have pledged their support, and are available for a limited time only.
