Melissa A. Stricherz is the Director of Development with the Boy Scouts of America, Mid-America Council.

Melissa received her Masters Degree in Public Administration, Nonprofit Emphasis from the University of Nebraska, Omaha in 1997.

Melissa has been with the Council since 1999 as Endowment Director, 1999; Development Director, 2000-2006; Director of Finance Service, 2006-2008; Senior Development Officer, 2011-2012. Prior to starting with the Council, Melissa was Major Gift Officer for Alegent Health, Executive Director for Jimmy Wilson, Jr. Foundation and Development Director for Multiple Sclerosis Society. Melissa has also been Cub Socut Leader 2005-2009 and is currently a Troop Advancement Chairman 2009-present and Woodbadge Trained.
