Wood Badge Information
Registered Cub Scout, Boy Scout, and Venture leaders are welcome to attend Wood Badge training, the most advanced adult leadership training that the
Boy Scouts of America has to offer. Training is held at Camp Cedars and is conducted in two parts. Part 1: September 10 – 12, 2010; Part 2: October
1 – 3, 2010. Attendance at both weekend sessions and the mid-course meeting is required. Read

All District Training Chairs encourage each unit, or group of units, to contact them to arrange for eight or more leaders to receive

 The Mid-America Council applies for and coordinates a contingency to Philmont Scout Ranch, each year filling up to 10 Crews of 12 individuals each year. Philmont 2011 is full.
