Being a part of the MAC Summer Camp Staff isn’t just another summer job. We work with youth from tiger cubs all the way to our Eagle Scouts and beyond to not just teach outdoor skills and merit badges, but to change lives. Plus, you get to make life-long friends, spend the summer in the great outdoors, have an experience that will set you apart from others in future jobs, and have a ton of FUN! Camp Staff offers positions for everyone in areas like outdoor skills, handicraft, health, equestrian, shooting sports, climbing, nature, STEM, aquatics, and even kitchen and dish crew!
Staff members must be at least 14 years old by June 1st to join staff. Many positions on camp staff require 18+ or 21+ directors, so you’re never too old to be on Camp Staff! Staff training will take place May 30- June 5. Some positions may require additional training before May 30. Camp is in session June 7- July 19, except for June 29- July 4. Camp schedule varies depending on the different camps. Find out more at the Camp Amikaro website and the Camp Cedars website

We have many positions on our camp staff from dish crew, medical staff and assistant rangers, to lifeguards, wranglers, specific area instructors, and everything in between! Our camp staff serve two main summer camp programs- Camp Cedars and Camp Amikaro. Camp Cedars is our week-long Scouts BSA Resident Camp. Camp Amikaro is our weekend Cub Scout camp. Some staff choose to work one program while many serve in roles for both programs. Staff must be able to work at minimum the staff training week (May 30- June 5) and two additional sessions. Some positions have age restrictions (listed in parenthesis next to the title). Also listed is the number of staff we plan to hire for that role.
